How many places in Mal Pais have I, a local, actually gone and stayed at? This is the only one. Star Mountain is up a rough and tumble jungle road, it's away from everything, except oxygen, trees, flowers, animal life, and good vibes. If you want to get away from the city and sink into jungle living. This is the place to do it. It's not the lap of luxury, but it's charming and beautiful, and priced very well. We highly recommend having a stay, or better yet, booking it out and having your yoga retreat here. The breakfast is just lovely.
